In today’s blog I want to share with you a few other myths that we find about home automation, as I said last week there are more myths than you will ever imagine about Smart homes, remember that home automation offers the possibility of building a house equipped with the latest technologies for security applications, communications, entertainment or simply for comfort. With that being said that let´s enter to the true reason why you are here, the myths.

Installing domotic elements does not mean that you have to change the whole distribution of the house, throw away walls and ceilings or directly do a complete renovation. In fact, some of the automation options we have today, such as U-WIGO, allow you to have complete control of your house without the need of additional renovation or wiring, this is a great advantage if you are thinking of automating.

This is nothing but FALSE. With the new improvements in home automation devices you can automate one space at a time, I mean your room or your living room, and you only need a Hub or a brain to control and a couple of outlets and switches for your area, this is up to you, you can automate any space you want step by step, just find the right combination and the right brand for you.

Are you sure? I just want to ask you a few questions, do you have a regular TV at home? Maybe a stereo or a DVD player? And an air conditioner? Do you have at least one of these devices at home? If you do, let me tell you a secret… Your house can be automated, you will only need Wi-Fi, YES! Only Internet! but that’s not all, there are more, I’m sure you have blinds, switches and a lot of devices that stay plugged in all day and this ends up in the electricity bill that is very expensive, these are things that you can also control with a smart outlet, you will be able to turn on or off all the devices, whether you are at home or not! Sounds great, doesn’t it?
It has been a pleasure for me to clear up some of the myths surrounding the beautiful world of automation, please go ahead and do some research, you’ll see I haven’t lied!
Now that you know these myths, do you agree with us that home automation increases the quality of life of the user? In other words, home automation makes it easier to manage and improve the use of resources, dare to know the concept, leave the myths behind, think about your needs and experience the comfort this can bring, as well as the efficiency, security and accessibility you will get.
